Police Trooper Pulls Over Mayor for Speeding, Mayor then Pulls Over the Trooper for Interfering…

We don't know if we should laugh or cry with this strange story that took place in South Carolina on January 18 and was captured on film by a police trooper's dashboard camera.

It all started when an unnamed South Carolina police trooper stopped the Mayor of Norway, Jim Preacher, for driving 70mph in a 50mph zone in an unmarked Dodge Charger police car. Let us note that the Charger previously belonged to the town's police chief before the division was disbanded in August 2011 due to lack of funds.

The trooped handed a four-point, $185 fine to Preacher, who wasn't pleased at all and decided to return the favor… The Mayor immediately made a U-turn and turned on his lights and sirens to stop the trooper!

"Can I see your driver's license," Preacher asked the trooper. The police officer gave him his license and asked the Mayor why he stopped him. "Are you familiar with interfering with a police officer?" asked Preacher.

Taiwanese Man Bumps into a Traffic Officer…with his Truck

True, accidents can happen any time and at virtually any place, but we think the driver of the small truck seen in this video from Taiwan is unforgivably careless. How on earth can you not see the police officer with the distinctive yellow markings in broad daylight?

Even though he was literally hit by a truck, the officer managed to get up by himself and trot to the sidewalk before another motorist had the chance to finish the job. And yes, that's definitely going to hurt for a while…

Where Do You Think You're Going? Woman Tries to Escape Three Times After Being Stopped by Police

Surely, anyone with an iota of common sense would give it up when surrounded by at least three police vehicles, right? Well, maybe most people but not Alexandra Osteyee-Hoffman.

The 28-year old North Carolina woman tried not once, but three times (!) to escape from the police last Friday. It all began when deputies came to her house to serve papers on a hearing. The officer approached her Toyota Corolla and asked for her at which point she took off only to be cornered by at least three police vehicles shortly after.

From that point on, we have the video footage from the police car dashboard camera, which shows her fleeing the scene for the second time leading the police on a high-speed chase – well, as fast as a Corolla can go, that is…

French Prankster Poses as a Mobile Speed Camera, gets Caught After Flashing the Police

You may have heard about French humorist Rémi Gaillard who has made a name for himself over the past few years for a series of pranks that he uploads on his YouTube channel.

For his latest practical joke, Gaillard decided to dress up as a…mobile speed camera and flash passing cars on the road. The funniest part of the video comes at the end when he targets a French police car.

The officers of course stop and arrest him (probably thinking, 'not him again…'). Head on past the break to watch Gaillard's latest hoax along with a previous prank he did in a parking lot.

Dashboard Footage Allegedly Shows Cop Planting Evidence in Suspect's Car, Police Says Look at the Full Video

A 1 minute, 40 second long police dashcam video shot during a traffic stop in the city of Utica in New York on February 11, 2011, which purportedly shows an officer planting a bag of drugs in the suspect's car, is making headlines today after the footage was posted online by the Utica Phoenix newspaper.

However, Utica police authorities were quick to respond by releasing the full 25 minutes of the police car's dashcam video, in which the officer is seen searching the suspect and discovering a white bag in his pocket, give or take 6 minutes and 45 seconds into the clip.

Speaking to WKTV Utica, which obtained the original dashcam footage, Utica Police Chief Mark Williams denied the claims that the officers planted the bag in the car and said that the incident was thoroughly investigated.

"He's going into the car with it and that's what he's doing, it's cold out and he's basically separating the drugs from both defendants," Chief Williams told the local TV station.

Naked Hummer Limo Thief Attempts to Run Away from the Police but is Caught by Dog [Video]

And just when you thought you've seen and heard it all, you run across another crazy story. According to ITN News, this latest bizarre incident took place in southern California on Saturday night when a naked man reportedly stole a Hummer stretch limousine at gunpoint.

After the vehicle's chauffeur notified the police, officers on the ground with the help of a police helicopter from above were somehow able to quickly spot the stolen Hummer (as it turns out, a stretch Hummer isn't as inconspicuous as the thief may have thought…) and began pursuit.

Colombian Police Turn Drug Trafficker's Seized Ferrari into a Patrol Car after No One Wants to Buy it

The Colombian police authorities were recently confronted with this problem: what could they do with a low-mileage Ferrari 348 that was seized from a local drug lord and that no one wanted to buy?

Well, after some deep thought, they came up with a rather simple solution: turn the classic Ferrari into a patrol car painted in the Colombian national police's green and white colors, and tour the country before placing it permanently in a police museum.

The 1991 Ferrari model has only clocked around 1,200 miles (1,900 kilometers) and has been valued at US$250,000 by Colombian authorities.

The classic sports car was seized back in 2007 from Hernando Gomez Bustamante, also known as “Rasguno” or “Scratchy”, who is currently serving time in prison in the States for drug trafficking, money laundering and other crimes.
